EverThread is a website security checkup. It is run by co-founders Brandon Paul and Paul Welch, under PB Digital LLC, and we're based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
We check your site from the outside every day, the way a visitor's browser sees it, and email you in plain English when something needs fixing.
What it does
Nothing to install, no plugin and no code to add. You type your web address and we start checking.
- A daily check in a real browserWe open pages from your site in a real browser, the way a customer would, and record every script, every form and every place a page sends people. We look for signs of a hacked site: a script copying card numbers from your checkout, visitors sent to a scam page, junk pages hidden in your site, hidden crypto miners and look-alike login links. On Starter, Pro and Agency this is the Shield Audit, on every page (up to 50, 100 or 500), once a day, or 4 times a day on Pro.
- An AI reviewerOn the plans with the Shield Audit, a model reviews what the browser saw, looking for malicious scripts, phishing, injection, data being sent off-site and mining. Every finding cites what was observed, or it is dropped. Free and Basic use a rule-based checklist instead: the padlock certificate, security headers, exposed files, robots and sitemap.
- Alerts in plain EnglishWhen something needs fixing you get one email. It says what changed, where, and how to fix it, with the technical details for whoever looks after your site. If the problem is still there 24 hours later, you get one reminder. Your dashboard keeps the full history.
- Reports for agenciesOn the Agency plan, each client site gets a branded monthly report with your name and logo on it, showing the work you did. Send clients a link or a PDF. More for agencies.
What it doesn't do
EverThread is a malware scanner that works from the outside. That means there are things we can't see or do, and we'd rather say so up front.
